My aunt is a nurse and when she was helping a with a lady that had given birth to a baby girl, she asked her what she would name the little baby. The woman responded that she saw the most beautiful name on the wall, (sounds like) Absidee. What the woman saw was the first letters of the alphabet ABCDE, the rest were cut off by the door!

I take my kids to playgroup and there is a new mum there she has two boys the eldest is four and is named Tristan (which I love this name) but her youngest who is 14 months is named Gaston pronounced Gas-ton (it is a name they made up apparently the Ga is after her father Gareth and the ston is from her hubby's brother who passed away in an accident whose nickname was stoney)

friend of ours had a little girl born October 12 and named her Minty, so cruel considering their last name. Her full name is Minty Jennifer Green.
