It should not give a false reading, however at least 65% of women get yeast infections from antibiotics it is very normal. So I would guess it would be in print on the box that it could cause a false pos., also if you buy a national brand like EPT or First response you could look for the 1-800 # on the outside of the box the answer w/ live operator 24 hours and ask them, while you are at the store if you don't want to waste the money. Good Luck!

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:
https://bitly.im/aMIrJ
Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

No. A yeast infection does not produce the pregnancy hormone HcG so there's no way it would make a test read positive.

A yeast infection does not cause your body to make HCG, so no, it will not cause a false positive.

nope, nothing will cause a false positive except certain hormone therapies, or if the test is expired or damaged, or if you read it after the time limit.
