Proof they must be, from our Educator-in-Chief:

As yesterday's positive report card shows, childrens do learn when standards are high and results are measured.

The goals of this country is to enhance prosperity and peace.

It's what I call the soft bigotry of low expectations. If you don't have high standards, you get lousy results, particularly in some neighborhoods. And that's unacceptable to a person like Lynn Swann and me.

We need to apply the same rigor of No Child Left Behind, particularly in middle age for math and science.

Even though we didn't find the stockpiles we affected -- to find, Saddam Hussein had the capability of making weapons.

I mean, if you've ever been a governor of a state, you understand the vast potential of broadband technology, you understand how hard it is to make sure that physics, for example, is taught in every classroom in the state. It's difficult to do. It's, like, cost-prohibitive.

You wanna be, uhh, blunt about what has taken place, sometimes when you don't measure, you just shuffle kids through. Then you wake up at the high school level and find out that the illiter -- literacy level of our children are appalling.

LOL... Yeah, when our own President asks "Is our children learning?"... All I can say is that the chances are better for those who know how to hold a book.

Democrats aren't the brightest bulbs in the shed either. Two shades of a similar evil is what they are.
