Not going to happen and I will explain why - I don't believe the US will attack Iran based on some articles I have read for example - The Christian Science Monoitor reported - US moves in Iraq may push Iraqi and Iranian governments closer . Heres a link to the article -http://www.csmonitor.com/2007/0924/p99s01-duts.html

A piece of the article states - " The US arrest of an Iranian official to Iraq has resulted in closed borders between the two Middle Eastern countries – a decision that may take an economic toll . Iran shut most of its border crossings with Northern Iraq on Monday to protest the US military's arrest of an Iranian official who had been visiting Iraq as part of an official delegation . "

The United States blandly stated that its forces had arrested the Iranian delegate on " suspicions of weapons smuggling " , a charge which brought either disgust or laughter from Iraqi leaders . No one believes this allegation in Iraq , but instead believe this arrest is just one more action the US is taking which is designed to foster the propaganda notion that Shi'ite Iran is the country most responsible for supplying the Iraqi Sunni insurgency . Seasoned observers know better ; they know that Sunni Saudi Arabia is the nation supplying the Sunni insurgents with weaponry , money and training .

The Shi'ite Iraqi government protested mightily . What was interesting about this official Iraqi protest is that one statement was issued by the Shi'ite Prime Minister , while the second protest was issued by the Iraqi President . This American action is likely to foster even more harmony between the Shi'ite Iraqi government of PM Maliki and the Shi'ite Iranian government . In conclusion - The talks of attacking Iran is nonsense , designed to be nothing more then propaganda .

What's with writing everything in title case?

Anyway, no an invasion of Iraq is unlikely in the near future. There's a remote chance there might be some bombing, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Really, Iran is where we wish we could get Iraq to - still evil, still hates us, but stable and nominally democratic, so there's some hope for liberalization.
