A fountain pen. When I lost it I'm sure I saw it fall into a waste paper bin. When I looked for it it had gone. I found it in the back of a drawer around six months later. But the bizarre thing was, when I originally saw the pen fall into the waste paper bin, I'm sure I saw it vanish, literally.
