He's not the only one and there are CEO's in the US making a huge amount more than the people that make him rich and do all the work. It's a fact of life. The Chinese want their money to be undervalued anyway so they can have all these companies like Mattel begging them for cheap worthless toys that sell for way too much!
Blame consumers who are not conscientious of the products they spend their hard earned money on.

How do you come to the conclusion that it's America's fault ?
Nevermind , I was being facetious .
Fact is all CEO's are over-paid in my book , but there's nothing against the law about it . And NEVER compare Chinese workers pay-rates with anything in the United States . That's just ridiculous . America IS GREAT .
Maybe it's high time for you to take a good CLEAR look around you . Maybe it's time to stop bashing your own country and start supporting your own country .
You're never gonna get anywhere being such an ANGRY man. . . . . . . .
You see the world through your cynical eyes
You're a troubled young man I can tell
You've got it all in the palm of your hand
But your hand's wet with sweat and your head needs a rest
And you're fooling yourself if you don't believe it
You're kidding yourself if you don't believe it
How can you be such an angry young man
When your future looks quite bright to me
How can there be such a sinister plan
That could hide such a lamb, such a caring young man

If you could stop all toys being made in other countries from being sold here and people could only buy American the price would be so high that most people couldn't buy them. Then we could demand that the companies lower their prices and at the same time why not demand higher wages for the American workers. As far as the CEO's the owners ( stock holders) approved his salary so if they didn't object then I am not going to.

To be fair, at purchasing power parity, that'd only be about eleven hundred what the Chinese workers are making. The Chinese government keeps thier currency unit, the Yuan, devalued vs the dollar by a factor of 4 or 5.

I think that the American public is getting the picture. Demand for locally built toys (in the US) is growing swiftly.
I wonder what would happen if Americans boycotted Mattel's products this Christmas and dropped their sales by 70%?

Perhaps you should mock China rather than America.
After all, it's China that doesn't allow its populace to get the same income as Americans.

I am all for keeping business 100% in America. I buy American but to blame America for this. That's pathetic.

Don't forget Hollywood where the "stars" make thousands of times what some of the other people who work on the movies make.
