songs I bought on i tunes don't work on my PSP?

I bought an i tunes card spent 15 dollars and i can't put the songs on my psp. They either show up as corrupted data, locked songs(cannot play) or don't show up at all. I know how to put music on my psp and have 48 songs on it already. I have 200kb left so i know memory isn't an issue. Please help me!

burn these songs onto a CD through iTunes and then re-import them back onto the computer, and from there to the PSP.

doing so will remove the protection on iTunes songs.

make sure that itunes is set on MP3 burning too, that makes it easier. accessible under edit: preferences: advanced: burning.
