What are the max conditions I can push the core and the memory clock too without causing damange on the above card?

Factory overclocked units usually have 600mhz core and 1600mhz memory clocks. But with a good cooler, this is how far 8600GT can go:

Different cards of the exact same make clock better than others. Depends upon the "yield" of the GPU. Manufacturers test the yields of the GPU and use the higher yield ones in their OC cards. Try going to what the overclocked flavor of that card is but not all at once. I use Ntune to clock my 8800GTS D4 and it works great because i can crank my fan up to 100%. Whatever you do DONT up the voltage to the card unless you want to buy a new video card. It also depends on your power supply because it should have enough watts and amps and have stable rails.

Don't touch the memory clock, it looks high enough as it is. But it looks like you can push the Core clock to about 600 MHz assuming you have sufficient cooling (Stock fans should ussually suffice).
