I'm a Yankees fan and I know how we are like. Before when the Red Sox never won everyone felt sorry for them but now since they're all good the Red Sox fans are becoming just like us. All about pride and getting really cocky. Soon when and if the Cubs start winning they'll be all cocky.

Recently, it has become trendy to be a Red Sox fan, just like it's trendy to hate the Yankees. For some reason, people see the Red Sox as the loveable underdog and the Yankees as the big, bad bully who buys all of their players. The reality is, the Red Sox have done the same thing, so they are really no different. Beckett, Ortiz, Ramirez, Schilling, Drew, Lowell, Dice-K etc. were all bought from other teams because the Red Sox simply spent more money.

Red Sox fans really have no reason whatsoever to be cocky. They have the same number of championships as the Diamondbacks, Angels, Marlins, and many more teams who have existed for a fraction of the years Boston has. Yes, they are a good team now, but they have been the Yankees doormat for 80+ years.

Yes. All bandwagon/fair weather fans are pathetic, and right now there are no bigger bandwagons than the Yankees and Red Sox. I'd be willing to bet that at least 50% of each of these fans bases are bandwagon jumpers- you know who you are! These "fans" have no idea what being a fan is all about and should/will be ashamed and disappointed when they realize that they really don't have a team to cheer for. Where were the Red Sox fans 7 years ago? They were rooting for the Atlanta Braves...whose fan base has mysteriously shrunk over the last few years. Hmmmmm. The Yankees have been so good for so long that, hopefully, many of their fans have forgotten that they are bandwagon jumpers and are now true fans. Only a few losing seasons will tell.

the RED SOX are being just like the yankees, at like a quarter billion dollars. the only reason id have a problem with the red sox fans is if they were bandwagon and most of em arent, and that is a sweet park. stlouis fans are the best though, and this is coming from cleveland.

I challenge you to find Cardinal fans like that! If you find one I guarantee they aren't really Cardinals fans. We are too laid back and respectful.
