junk food is bad for you anyhow., so no prob....although the first 30 days w/o it would be the worst...after that it would be cake. lol red meat, contrary to what some say; is needed for healthy source of protein (moderation is key)....trust me...youll never see a buff/ripped up vegan.....most of em look like tweakers. and the ones that are 30 and under dont count....they are still so young they can get away with almost any diet as long as they work out once in a while.

The definition of "junk food" is finite and not open to interpretation. Junk food is any foodstuff that has no nutritional value. In fact, red meat, milk and cheese all have nutritional value. Of course over-consumption of any foodstuff can cause health problems later in life, but in moderation, red meat, milk and cheese can be part of a healthy diet.

I hate junk food, the bad aftertaste and the feeling that I'm stowing pounds by the bite.

Growing up I never had much red meat, my mom was a health food freak and we had tofu, lean meat, and fish as a substitute.

So i could, and my health is one of the most important things to me. after friends and family of course.

Only if I was getting 3 Mercedes and 3 houses in Miami, Sacramento, and Salt Lake City-then I'll think about it.

I haven't had red meat (or pork products) in years. So that's not a problem - but junk food.. That is a totally different story. Especially when they yum-yums are homemade. (blondie brownie or warm oatmeal cookies w/ butterscotch chips & walnuts)

definitely.

I don't like drinking soda that much, but i love fries ONCE in a while, but I hate hotdogs.

Red meat- well it might be hard to give up beef, seeing that it makes a wonderful ingredient in a Vietnamese soup, but that's ok :P when i was little I never ate the beef.

good luck on trying to get your cholesterol level down.
