Yeah, I think tampons would be much easier. With pads, there is the risk that if you put your leg up too high or something like that, your pad would give you a kinda wedgie, then you would leak, which is not exactly convenient. They are less noticeable, because you might see the pad wing sticking out the side of your leotard (that's probably impossible, but I'm just thinking). My step sister does gymnastics and she swears by tampons, so there's proof that tampons are better than pads for gymnastics. Hope this helps xo
P.S. Email me if you have any more questions

Oh I would say heck yes to wearing tampons instead of pads in gymnastics! Pads sometimes have a tendancy to bunch up if you move around a lot like you do in gymnastics while tampons stay put.

Definitely wear a tampon.

Pads are very bulky anyway, and those are some pretty skimpy outfits. I always found tampons to be so much more comfortable... especially when tumbling. You don't have to worry about them moving around, bunching up, or peaking out. Just make sure you tuck the string!

Tampons are best. If you use a pad, it won't be for sure to stay in place. You will most likely find a pad uncomfortable.

i would say the new sports kind of tampon.
also... in the future if youre interested... there is a birth controll pill that will make your period last only 3 days. i had a lot of friends who were gymnists and they told me how hard it is to really do anything while on their period... so if youre interested you can talk to your doctor or your mom or who ever you need to talk to about it.

heres the link... its called loestrin.... good luck!
