its been going on since monday... and I am getting annoyed!
He thinks that he is being discreet, b/c of he keeps a straight face whenever he does it, but.. ugh!

Be discreet and leave a bottle of beano for him and maybe get some of the Oust style air freshner to have on hand.

When he's standing and busy doing something, hang a pine air freshener from his back belt-loop. Lol, just kiddin'.
Leave a bottle of Bean-O on his desk. Maybe he doesn't know there are medications to help him deal w/his gas problem? ... it's possible. :)

gas x is a great product that helps reduce it. Whether they might have digestary problems or whatever. It cost about $4, and lasts up to like 6 hours. Great product I sometimes us it myself. When I have bad days.

Get him a little car air freshener and maybe he'll get the hint.
You could be more direct and say "Excuse me, Harold, but you need to take care of your personal issues in the bathroom."
Or if you're immature, you could try to out-stink him. I don't recommend that.

Maybe you can drop a hint by asking what he had for breakfast/lunch/dinner last night. Or a bigger hint by asking if he's changed his diet lately. . .just wondering??
Be prepared with a can of air freshener and spray it liberally - no mistaking THAT hint!!

Keep a can of Oust around. Don't say anything, just spray. He obviously doesn't care or can't help it, so you need to keep the air clean around you so you can work with him.

.... hmmmm well ....if its high octane gas that he's passing ... I'd ask him to put it in bottles and jars ..... Oil just went above $ 90/barrel today.
However if you don't like him ....keep matches or lighters nearby might eject/project him far outside of the office.

buy some "Bean-O" and leave it on his desk anonymously. he should get the hint. And buy yourself one of those Glade plug in fan things to make at least your area smell good.
