She'd have to rewrite it - He was in love with Cho and Ginny, so at best it could come out that he was bi.

If she had written is to that Harry was snogging Ron at the Tree Broomsticks, it probably would not have sold as well.

I don't know. I know it would give the book haters one more reason to bash the series. I think it might give the world a very interesting spin on children's and young adult fiction, as well as create some very interesting discussion about the ethics and morality of homosexuality in popular literature. For all I know, it could be a very good thing for the series. People could rush out to buy the books just to see if there were any hints that the author dropped over the course of them.

My mother and I were just talking about this. It was in the Chicago Sun Times by a Neil Steinberg on page 20 from Oct 22,07. He quoted that she J.K. Rowling outed that Albus Dumbledore was. But J.K.R .Made her money anyway. Besides that WHO CARES I love all of her characters she is the driving force of what we end up buying and choosing the right to read it or not.Just like Alaisin1 says "Giving them more fuel to ban more books.

Wellll it would probably be a different story. You may not realize but all the little things with cho and all the stuff with ginny has a big impact on the story. and if he didnt have ginny he might not have been able to defeat voldemort cuz she was kinda his motivation

It would have an effect, but I doubt that is the way JKR sees Harry, so I think we are safe from that particular revelation.

Only Dumbledore is gay. Are you a homophobe? It's fiction, you know.
