I must admit....I don't think I have been the best patient lately....especially when it comes to the serious stuff. I think it may help to be reminded once in a while of what it is like to be a hospital VISITOR once in a while....as well as a patient. I have far more experience of being a patient....but when my mother had eye surgery at the end of May, I realised that being a hospital visitor is not much fun, either.

When I'm under the weather all I want to do is sleep so I suppose I'm a fairly good patient as it takes no effort for anyone to look after me

I'm a nurse and I think there's a law or something that says nurses and doctors make the worst patients. I am a rotten patient and I've told many doctors that I dont like most of them.
Not personally, just as a general rule. Doctors make you sick and some nurses should never be allowed to give injections. I'm in perfect health as long as I dont see some doctor.

Yes, I was an absolute Angel when I was in Hospital for four days in December of 2005. I was gutted like a fish and put together with cat gut and super glue.
The self administered Morphine Drip might have had something to do with my calmness. Oh plus they had my legs strapped the the bed for two of the four days (they had them attached to a machine that would contract and release to keep the circulation going in my lower legs.
I am always an Angel of a Patient. All of the Nurses for all of my Doctors love me to pieces.

i think of Lefty's slightly a sod without endurance for people who say God Can treatment all our ills without potions or pills even in spite of the incontrovertible fact that he made her a mono pod. She's been absent this week with the flu So the morons and twats on Yahoo Had a spoil for somewhat From previous Lefty's wit yet i'm useful she'll be back sturdy as new.

I'm a very good patient because I want everybody to go away and let me be miserable by myself.

Yes - as long as all that is asked of me is that I bury myself under the covers and stay there.
I am usually happy with occasional mugs of chicken bovril to keep me hydrated. Other than that I really just want to be left to wallow in my own misery on my own!

I try to be. I'm a nurse so I know that a lot of people become irritable when they're not feeling good. But, when I'm at home I can moan and groan with the best of them.......lol. My poor family.......

No I usually don't go to the doctor unless I think I'm dyingor for a regular check up. If I'm sick I just wear it and try to get healthy.
My Dr. gives me grap about it.
