He pulls it from the Sorting Hat, after Voldemort puts it on his head to destroy it and make an example of him. I know it doesn't make sense since Griphook the goblin last had the sword, but the Sorting Hat is just that magical, and apparently any Gryffindor in need can pull the sword from it.

When neville runs up to voldemort after everyone thinks harry is "dead" voldemort tells nobody to hurt neville because hes a pure blood. then he says that there will be no need for a sorting hat and everyone will be in slytherin. to demonstrate he "acios" the sorting hat and shoves it on nevilles head. and thats when neville pulls the sort out of the hat and slices the head of nagini

From the Sorting Hat, just as Harry got it in CoS. Neville's a real Gryffindor, so he could pull it out of the hat!
