I had some ibuprofen that expired in 2003!!!

I saw those things every day in the medicine cabinet, but never bothered to look at the expiration dates.

Thanks for the heads up.

Thanx 4 the reminder! I check the medicine cabinet in my Mom & Dad's bathroom. There's no small kids here. Just my parents, me(14) and my 13 year old brother.

LOL
I checked mine and found some of the old Dimeatap that hasnt been sold in years, and some tylenol that expired in the 90's. I also had some band-aids that were so old that the wrappers just fell off in pieces when you pulled them out of the box.

That's a very good suggestion. I got around the problem by not having a medicine cabinet and not taking any medication except for the one the doctor ordered for my thyroid. It helps to have grown children.

I just moved back into my house after having it remodeled so nothing is older than 4 months. However this is a great reminder in the form of a question, for adults and especially for parents.

Yes and did you know you are not suppose to put expired medicine down your toilet anymore. You are suppose to take it to a Drs office or a hospital for it to be disposed of.

I try to check it every 6 months....I'm always surprised when I find things that are almost older than I am.
