I sure hope so. This miserable championship drought is now into its third full season. Short-suffering Sox fen need, at short last, a reason to lift up their voices and cheer!
Only by bringing home the trophy to Boston can the Sox break this dismal streak and end the suffering of every fan under the age of two. One-tenth of a generation has never known the joy of winning, and that's just too long.
