Any one who thinks they can take what I have earned is greedy and stupid to boot. Which is what I will give them when they try.

Did you know that the Federal Reserve purposely keeps MILLIONS of Americans OUT of work? Why? Because "expert" economists can't figure out a way to stem off inflation. If every American had a job, it would put upward pressure on wages. If your job didn't pay enough or provide you with enough benefits, you could just quit and go find another job. So keeping people out of work keeps wages low and stagnant and benefits to a minimum. But God knows, we can't have UPWARD pressure on wages, that might mean people wouldn't be living in poverty! So what of those MILLIONS kept out of work by the Fed? Are they just lazy and looking for someone to support them? Hardly. They are merely casualties of the war on poor and middle class Americans. Is it wrong or "greedy" for citizens of the greatest country of the world to expect help from their government? Could we as citizens of the greatest country in the world continue to call ourselves such a thing if we went back to pre-Roosevelt-like conditions in the US where the poor and elderly died in the streets? Is this really what Conservative Republicans are advocating by wanting to keep what they earn? Because that's where the US would be headed if we all kept what we earned. But the wealthy who "earn" most if not all of their income from investments and not labor would be just fine. Income "earned" from stocks, dividends and capital gains are only taxed at 15%, whereas taxes levied on labor are about 35%. This only further illustrates how there is a redistribution of wealth UPWARDS to those who need it least in the US.

And what are you trying to say? Did you actually earn your income or was it interest from investments, or inherited? You are not a hedge fund manager or CEO are you?
To the extent you are ablel to you are going to pay property taxes, most likely a state income tax, and god knows how many other taxes through the course of a year. No one supports me, nor would I ask. I think most people have too much self respect to act otherwise. I suppose you may qualify as greedy - if you have to use a false example to justify some kind of class prejudice.
You would not be a Republican would you.?
This is the kind of wolf-in-sheeps-clothing some of them like to ask.
I suspect beneath the surface you want what's yours and what's mine too. At least you are honest about what motivates you.

Give up their pay check? Getting rather dramatic there, aren't we? No one is asking anyone to give up a pay check for someone else. Did you know that most of the people on welfare are NOT lazy but are in that condition for other reasons? You guys listen to conservative hate radio and seem to think if someone isn't exactly like you they must be inferior. That snobbish attitude is very prevalent among the righties these days. Holier than though one, why don't you go talk to some welfare people or go down and talk to a case worker or two before you spout off.

it's greed both ways.keep, spend and share willingly, if applicable, what you have honestly earned for yourself and don't be expecting anyone to give anything to you for a support.it's how it's suppose to be.we live our lives solely for the betterment of ourselves.i don't see the point why i should give up a hard earned paycheck,or any part of it for that matter to someone who didn't shed a bit of effort earning it in the first place.see,i'm being greedy myself, but it's just how it is in this cruel world we live in.

The first is more greedy. The second is more unreasonable.
Greed is defined as wanting excessively more then you need. And wanting someone to give up their paycheck to "support you" is not greed. It is more or less the definition of dependency and lack of independence.

Life is never that simple, honey. Rather than being stark black or white, there is an endless range of shades of gray. Your question is too simplistic, to put it mildly, and it will only elicit simplistic answers - except for this one.

Wanna know something else that's greedy? Giving illegals amnesty so they can come and work for under minimum wage. Low pay = job security. They aren't going to press charges.
