What would be the best Fastest possible cpu that is compatible of coarse with this mo-bo?

X2 6400+ is the fastest but I would rather go for the X2 5000+ Black Edition, then overclock it at stock voltage to 3.0 to 3.1Ghz. It will be a cheaper and more efficient alternative to the X2 6400+ that draws 125 watts.

Overclocking is SAFE, especially at stock voltages and with good cooling. It is the HEAT that damages processors even if not overclocked.

AMD Atholon Dulal Core Series (Socket AM2). Think its up to 6400+ now.
