When have Democrats ever worried about Debt? I have never heard of one Democrat ever saying that we are taxed enough --- we will stop spending.
There answer (except for JFK) has been to spend more and tax their enemies more. Look at the complexity of the tax code (50 + years of Democrats offering favors to their friends) ---
Your mother told you that if you want something in the future --- save for it now. Stop spending on silly programs --- We need defense, we need the Army, we must have a Navy --- but we do not need school psychologist, grants to Ms Couric, farm subsidies.
Work hard, spend little, and demand the government do the same and that government stays out of your pocket.
A business woman.

YOu can find out how the candidates answer that question by going to their websites ( in case you didn't think of that ).
And what services are the democrats "giving away"?
And by the way, did you hear your boy W's war is expected to top at at 2.5 trillion? DO you even know how many zeros are in a trillion? No? I didn't think so - but your kids and grandkids are going to find out. The point is, it is better to "give away "services than to bankrupt the country with a war that isn't even in our own country, and kill people all at the same time, do you agree? You are kind of a numbskull, aren't you . . . . .?

Let me think... Well, more spending and higher taxes seems to cover it. Oddly enough, tax cuts do not cause the national debt to skyrocket; tax cuts in combination with massive spending (both official and porky), however, do.

Start by ending the war in Iraq.
Then--yes--raise taxes. The wealthy and corporations are not paying a fair share.
Restoring the social programs suffering under the neocons' scorched earth policy can easily be done--jsut take back the billions in subsidies to the oil and drug industries-and the billions Bush is supposedly spending to help Iraqis while Amricans suffer.

Tax hikes, up to some 33% planned, but, not much will be used on our debt; they need to keep buying votes, so most of it will go on financial aids....;-))

Republicans are in no position to lecture ANY other party on the economy. This administration has shown ZERO fiscal responsibility...so you might as well delete your question right now. DELETE I SAY!!!!
