Where is the most unusual place that you ever read a book?

In a supermarket parking lot while waiting for my bf to do the boring shopping. I looked like a loser but at least I was entertained.

i've got study mendacity on my lower back on the showering gadget with my legs resting on the window ledge approximately 4 feet above it. Why, you ask? almost all upstairs rooms have been being painted and smelled awful, which bills for my being in the laundry room. We had moved all of the furniture downstairs, which made for my strange place. the top. no longer inevitably a wierd place, yet a wierd place nonetheless.

By a poolside on a ship in the Panama Canal. Not unusual/strange, but unusual for me! :-)

Back in college, I had a summer job driving kids to camp in a school bus. While waiting for kids to get on and off the bus, I managed to read Moby Dick.

It's not unusual, but on the bus. I was reading Segu. It was so intriging that I missed my stop and found myself on the beach in Santa Monica. Had to turn around and make it back to school.

I read all the time, it wasn't a book, but I was so interested in a magazine article once that I continued to read it during my yearly gyn appt...at least it took my mind off the "big nasty"

In my Jacuzzi bathtub at home! I love to run a good bubble bath and sit there with a good book! I even had my husband put up a flat screen in my bathroom. It is my sanctuary!
