Sandy, it's V G here. Your baby is going to be a girl. 99% of course, there are never any guarantees :) I hope you are happy. Congratualtions! You are going to love her !!!
I am probably not supposed to put my email address so you can email me when you have your baby girl. But anyways... the important is you know the sex of the baby now :)

It mostly depends on how old the mother is when the baby is conceived. Usually the older the mother is, more likely to be a girl. But I can tell you for sure if you tell me what month was the baby conceived and how old was the mother at that time.

There is not a tendency to have boys or girls for any man. The sperm, which already has male or female chromosomes, will determine the gender of the fetus. So it is really a matter of which sperm is the stronger swimmer.

I have never come across any research or topics discussing gender producing tendencies of men over 40, or men of any age for that matter. I don't believe there is any significance of offspring gender relative to age.

I wouldn't think that there is anything like that, it's just a matter of chance of whether the X or Y chromosome from him is used with the X from the mother.

Ive heard something about the male sperm not being as "robust" with aging, so that would show that tendency. Although have no memory of where I read it.

No association was found between age and sperm sex ratio, so older men are no more or less likely to have girl or boy babies than their younger counterparts.

Not sure... My wife is the one that has the children. I just sort of help her along... Plant the seed so to speak.

More likely to produce girls.

it has to do with the sperm.. girls are harder to have ..the sperm has to be very strong..Boys are easier and the sperm doesn't have to be as strong..for ex if two make love after a drinking heavy that same evening they are most likely to have a boy.
