Tell me about it. I almost barfed when I saw that my aunt had bought my son a sleeper from the mall. The MALL! I've worked hard for 4 months instilling a sense of pride and dignity for what he wears. At 5 months old he understands what it takes to get ahead in life, and it's not going to happen by dressing in clothes from the GAP.
Thanks for the link... I'm going to read it aloud to him tonight before bed.

Clothes don't assure happiness and a great future to anyone. Criticizing others about so normal things such as being bad dressed is cosidered as foolish, unkind and snobby by many of us, including me.
Your daughter will be nothing if she just dresses smart but has no personality, opinions, talents, targets.
Caring just about dressing smart and fashionable makes you a consuming creature and worries you. It's a waste of life to your daughter (and also any child) not to play with her friends or sit on the grass because of the fear of getting her clothes dirty or messy.
If she agrees with you without being brainwashed, you may let her be clean, fashionable, smart, stylish etc., but *n*o*t*h*i*n*g* *m*o*r*e*.

This article is terrible!!!!!!!!! it's so sad that you want your daughter to judge people by how they dress!!!! mabye they can't afford to buy nicer clothes, ever thought of that? how somebody dresses doesn't define who they are. it makes me sad that people have to have $650000 skirts that have somebody's name on it. not everybody can afford that and i'm so sorry that you are one of the horrible people in this world who define people by how they dress. i didn't read the whole article because it made me very sad. and by the way...i'm 13 and 4th top student in my entire grade thank you very much. i'm sorry but if you really do want that for your daughter...that is just going to make her turn into the type of snobby fashion chick that NO GUY EVER WANTS TO DATE BECAUSE SHE IS A SNOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i can't believe that just because people dress a little skimpy...it may not be that they purposely dress this way. i know it makes little to know sense but these clothes are very cheap and it mabye be all they can afford. and by the way again...gwen stefani is a performer...she's paid big money to dress like that. i also don't pay attention to the way she dresses....just by the way she sings...mabye you should try it

It's imperative that you do your duty
to incorporate a feverish pitch of
materialistic motivation within
her at this age.
Look, if you don't, she'll be forced
to develop a sense of humor.
And if she doesn't do that, she'll have
all the brains of people who need
to be shown just how sarcasm
is spelled out.
Blessings, indeed!

I know of only four cheeks that could use a good slapping............two of which in teenage speak, I remember........:"you will not leave this house semi-naked!"
"get back here and get dressed!"
ongoing saga,,,,"If it looks to be painted on - you're not going!"

SHE DOES NOT HAVE TO BE A BETTER WIFE TO HER HUSBAND! Are you insane?! WHY DO YOU CARE ABOUT THAT! You must wish for your daughter to be healthy and happy! ONLY THAT!

I hope you are joking. If not, you're daughter doesn't have a chance. Don't drill this crap into her head. Yeah, clothes really matter.
Too stupid.
