I am. I am fussy about words; I try to use exactly the word I want, to say exactly what I mean...
I have little patience with people who use language sloppily, and then retreat to "You know what I mean."
I had a husband who did it that way... I finally said,
( as I was leaving him)
"You're right Sweetheart! I knew exactly what you meant, but I chose to handle it THAT way so we could have this fight!"
Arrrgh! Men.
There is no need for multi-sylabic words, single and two-sylable words are available for accuracy.

Yeah..I say what I mean and mean what I say..usually.

Nuttin funnier than listening to someone dropping big words when they have no idea of their meaning...for some reason, I just can't help bursting out laughing when that happens.

And yes..I did check...wasn't sure if it was what I thought it was.
