Actually that would be done with the tag in HTML. you will need to define it with things like width and height such as this<br /> <br /> <textarea cols="50" style="word-wrap:normal;" rows="3"><a href="http://www.lakeareawebs.com/blog/?p=18">Why bother with standards compliant code/? </a>

If the text you put in the box is larger then the box itself it will put a scroll bar in for you.
