Our government is corrupt and doesn't give a damn about its citizens. Is it too late for America to be set on the right track?

Yes it is too broken--I am just waiting for the first conservative state to announce it is seceding so I can move there.

No, but I think the 2008 election will be the turning point. If we get a socialist nut in the White House, it will be beyond hope; as it is, we just barely have a chance of saving it now.

No. We can come back but we need to make changes in our direction .

1. Secure the borders
2. Develope a sane immigration policy .
3. Build up military to pre- Clinton Levels
4. Place proper tariffs on imports
5. Rebuild manufacturing base

It's not even broken a little! What a silly question.

Some states have more corruption problems (Louisana, for example) than others, but by and large the USA is fine.

Stop fighting it and just give in. It's so much better when you could care less. Except that your going to get screwed and then it won't burn so bad when you do. If you don't pay that much attention it's really not all bad. I don't break the law and make a good living. I'm cool with the system. could be worse.

Not while we keep electing the likes of Hutchinson and Comyn to the Senate, or DeLay to the House (yes I know he's gone, but his disease lives on).

As you can see, America is burning and the government does little to alleviate the problem.

Which America are you living in? We care plenty about our citizens, especially the ones who don't expect to share in other peoples hard earned money.

Geee.... I wonder if you're a Liberal.

The America I live in is FANTASTIC! It's economy is booming and it's the greatest country on THIS planet.

It must really suck being a Liberal and miserable all the time.

Warm regards,
Douglas
