I am amazed and can not come up with any good reason for this.

Right now the senate won't support anything longer than a one year ban.

Because they have no intention of seeing a potential giant cash cow mosey away...sooner or later, we will be paying for it...then the screams of how it is a fundamental right and those with it should pay for those without will begin...

Hey if they will not remove the amnesty bill and keep bringing it up it must have some money behind it. I wonder exactly what that tax bring in. Did the illegal child bill pass today? and what was the margin. Have seen nothing on it. Scary, but they may pass amnesty, even though vast voters are agianst it. Must be some way to stop. Thanks for the info and take care. Oh yea, will Hillary wear a Tiara and carry one of those sticks in her hand if elected?

Because the government doesn't want to rule out a possible source of new income, they are probably waiting for a few years to see if opposition to it will decrease. They need more money for pet projects and wasteful spending:) Both parties promote wasteful spending and pet projects, they just spend the money in different ways.

Democrats run Congress. They are believers in raising taxes and spending money. A ban on taxes is heresy to Democrats.

Because they are all corporate whores. Hate to be blunt, but it's the truth. Both sides. This is really a case of the David and Goliath. Big media wants the tax... Americans do not.

There is not such thing as a permanent ban such language is little more than pandering to the masses. Even constitutional amendments can be (and have been) repealed.
