Actually, there are sand and rock.
Besides, there are light from the sun; night and dark in case the sun goes out.

However, you should believe that there are a Moon Boy and a great Banian tree (from earth, you can see the banian, cannot see the boy b/c he is much smaller comparing with the banian).
