Helping the political left, hurting the nation. That's not to bash them specifically, American politics in general have become destructive.

I think in the end it will hurt them. All the democratic candidates rush to tow the moveon.org line without thinking of the consequences. Most people aren't that extreme and I think if the Republicans are smart, and I'm sure they are but sometimes I really wonder, they will be able to use the dems words against them.

I think that people feel moveon.org carries too much influence with the candidates. Of course, Soros would receive the credit for that.
On the other side, we have Fox and right wing radio commentators.
Hopefully people will see through all of it as well as the candidates and the right decision is made for the future of this country.

I'd say hurting. They are pulling the Democratic Party further left ideologically. This makes the Democratic Party less appealling to moderates, and consequently, makes the Democratic Party less electable. As moderates turn to Republican candidates, the political left loses representatives and power in the government.

In my view it hurts, the majority of Democratic voters take a more centralist view. Moveon.org is too radical for them. As Hillery is demonstrating in going for a far more moderate stance.

Hurting. MoveOn.org as a group is too far left in their political views. More than one half of Americans are more conservative.

I think in some way it is hindering. I think it should consult with liberal politicians before putting up ads. Especially during the presidential race.

I think they are a non-factor. No one who is inclined to like the political left is going change their opinions because of a far left web site just like they won't win any more conservative converts.........

They ARE the political Left (ok, maybe the fringe) but, the way I have seen 99% of the liberals here and elsewhere support them (and others like them e.g. KOS, the Democratic Underground, AlterNet etc.), you've got to wonder.
