I havent watched y&r in a while....what is going on? I watched today and saw there was an explosion but I am lost as to what happened. Please fill me in...thanks!

in clear springs there was an accident, the parking garage collapesed and mrs c., amber, cain, jt, vicki, jack, sharon, nick, noah, paul, detective lady, loren, adrian were all trapped. this week every day has been the one rescue for each person, so right now everyone who should be in genoa city is in clear springs. very emotional, very dramatic. i've been crying at the end of every episode!

They've been building a casino in Clear Springs and a bunch of people from Genoa City decided to all go down in the parking structure at the same time. This is for maximum drama. They've managed to rescue just about everyone a day at a time. Right now it looks like Victor and Nicki will be getting back together because of Victoria, who seems to have sustained the most injuries. Phyllis has been wanting to break out of jail to see Nick and OMG-the beat goes on.

Here is an entire two weeks of recap. Phyllis was cleared for a strict work - release program. Lily and amber were crushed over Kane kissing heather. The kids rallied around Nikki after victor called in her loans. Lauren promised amber a spot in Fenmore's grand opening fashion show. Undercover J.T. found cracks in the clear springs facade. As the walls close in on Lauren, Maggy and Paul, old terrors resurface and takes hold of Lauren for what Sheila put her through a couple of years back. Victor and Nikki cling to hope as time runs out An old love reemerged as a surprising hero takes shape. And this is what is coming for next week. The Newman's face a tragedy. Phyllis is frustrated by the restrictions of her work release. Gloria and Jeff play agame of cat and mouse. The tragedy that is facing the Newman's would be Victoria. When she was coming out of the rubble today. She was hit on the head with part of the debris that went flying. So she fell to the ground in today's episode. And that is where they left it until tomorrow. The one who plays Victoria is leaving the show for alittle while. She is going on maternity leave at the end of this month. I heard that her character will be put into a coma while the actress is out. So that is what has been happening on Y and R.

Basically, most of Genoa City just happened to be in the same parking garage at the same time when it exploded. There was some talk a few weeks ago of methane gas being on the site, but the building went on anyway. The construction site was being supervised by Cane who never supervised a construction project like this before in his life and even lied to rescue workers about his credentials.
Phyllis is in jail and might get out on work release soon.
This show is so bad right now.

People that aren't married are sleeping with each other. People that are married are cheating on their spouses. Someone that died is now suddenly back in the show...like in dream scenes. Lots of over-acting. That's about it.
