You know the crazies come out tonight. I'm not sure whether to batten down the hatches against a Dragon attack or to look toward the Dragons for protection. What wooly boogered beasties might we encounter this fine October evening?
Drunken Hillibillies? Drunken Scots? Drunken Aussies? Aha Drunken Seniors?
Bloodthirsty hounds? Feral cats? Vampires?
It's hard to prepare when you don't what you'll be up against.
All suggestions welcome. I'm Getting in a tizzy just thinking about what the midnight hour is going to bring.

Heck.....I just wanted to take pictures and it was too cloudy and missed the whole thing. Just stayed in at night....doesn't take a full moon for that....there's crazies here 24/7....I wish it was only during the full moon that it was like that.

Stay home. Stay out of bars for a few nights. The people who are a little off already get really crazy. My aunt worked in a nursing home, midnight shift. She said it was the best time to work there, because they usually slept, but during full moon they were all screaming, crying, etc.

People in bars who are usually sociable, become aggressive for no apparent reason.

I'm too old for this crap. I stay home for a few days. My beasties don't grow any more hair than usual.

That is an interesting thought. I've had experience with nut cases but the peeps you describe visiting sound like fun. I'm throwing open my doors and windows and letting the wind rip. I hope 3 or 4 of each make the trip. We can party down and take a nip.

Since it's so close to Halloween I made strings of garlic to hang at each door. I thought about having a bonfire in the backyard and inviting all my neighbors over to dance nude around the fire, but the moon would go into hiding forever! LOL

I did wash some windows so that I could actually see the moon.

When the moon is full, I enjoy putting in my fangs and my yellow cat eyes. Then I go outside at midnight and howl at the moon until the coyotes answer. I always wear black so that I can't be seen biting their furry little necks. After I become intoxicated on the coyote blood, I go home and settle in to my downstairs coffin for the day.

Have got the vacuum cleaner by the Fireplace.
Am going to suck the MOON down the chimney and all my pets are going to play with it.
When they finally tire, one of the dogs will let Mr. MOON escape out the Doggie door and back into the night!

We are finally getting much needed rain and it is sort of cold (for a Southerner) so hopefully all the nutty people will stay in their houses. I am sure that there will be lots of driving accidents, give us a little rain (in this case, a whole lot) and people forget how to drive. Oh well, that is life

All I have to watch out for are the crazies on the highway that just zoom in and out of all 3 lanes with no regard for anyone currently in other lanes. Happens every time.

I'm closing the hatches; drawing the blinds and drapes; keeping the lights on and will only peek out IF I'm awake! lol

I was just glad to find out what was making me so nutso....Full moons affect me big time! But then I've always been a bit weird...LOL
