I think it is time to let her and her sons rest
Its getting ridiculous now
as for her last words being oh my god
I'm not surprised!!
I'm sure anyone who was lay dying would mutter something similar!
it doesn't make it suspicious!
At the end of the day she wasn't wearing her seat-belt was she
no one forced her NOT to wear it

If I had a member of family that claimed to know that her husband (or someone else) was out to murder her/set about an accident....car related, brakes even - couldn't get more specific than that - then the incident was to happen I would want an inquest, more so when there were so many unanswered questions to certain circumstances which would not have taken place if this *was* simply an accident.
I would not rest until all those unanswered questions were resolved - okay, those questions may now never be answered, leaving me (if it were me) dissatisfied and having to continue living my life without closure surrounding that death.
Imagine if it was your sister, daughter....wouldn't you want to get to the bottom of it knowing what we do?

The money spent on those three inquests could have been put to much better use. Just forget about it. I know she did lots of charity work when she was alive but they are dragging it on a little now - 10 years....

Probably for the same reason people still idolize Elvis and John Lennon. Frankly, I have no idea why anyone would idolize someone they never knew. Guess it takes all kinds. I think if the press stopped covering these things, we'd stop hearing about poor Diana and Elvis too.

The whole Diana Spencer fiasco has been a total and utter bore from start to finish. Why the British taxpayer should have to fork out this money for an extensive inquest costing us millions is eyond my comprehension. If it were any other blonde bimbo the whole thing would have been done and dusted years ago. She did nothing, gave nothing and was nothing. She died a pointless and meaningless death in a car accident. It happens - especially to 2nd rate celebrities who think they are more important than they are. There must be better uses for paper, newsprint and electricity, not to mention other peoples time than this.

I seem to remember that Diana said, "Oh, my God", but that she also said, "Don't touch me".........most likely several times. I do not think she actually died until after she was taken into the hospital. This was such a tragedy, probably because she seemed to be greatly admired. My main problem with Diana, and the adulation she received (and continues to do so posthumously), is that she had numerous love affairs. What kind of a good example is this to the young folks in the world? Not a good witness in my way of thinking.

It is kinda strange how someone you do not know can have such an impact.
I must admit it still feels weird to me cause we still do not know the real reason behind her death. I think it was an accident not conspiracy.
All media stuff which is sad has an impact on me as I am a very sensitive person, even though I do not know them. I put myself in their families shoes! Wish I wouldn't, it would spare me a lot of heartache.

I agree with you, but to answer the question, Diana was a very important and influential person. She did many good things for charities and was very stylish and popular. Everyone loved and cared about her, and it is in human nature not to like unanswered questions, so we try to find answers.

I agree! Why be obsessed with a person who devoted her life to helping others; had compassion and love for the sick and needy; gave of her fortune and her time to bring even a modicum of happiness to the downtrodden; tried to eradicate land mines from war-torn country sides; exhibited exceptional parenting skills; and was one of the world's most worthy human beings?
We should save our obsessions for the selfish, rich-***** people like Britney Spears who squanders her good fortune; Howard Stern who makes a living from vulgarity and filth; Rush Limbaugh who poisons people's minds with political Pabulum; Larry Craig who trolls in public bathrooms for a homosexual hook-up; O.J. Simpson, who is nothing more than a common killer; and George W. Bush, who is the world's worst mass-murderer.

I don't know that I'm "obsessed" but I do think that the paparazzi /photographers need to leave these stars alone. People are curious just like with Elvis and Marilyn Monroe.
