Ok , the question is r u being serious? Great art has as much to do with the substance and intention, as it has to do with pleasurable responses. Often real boundary pushing art works are not necessarily percieved by mainstream society to have any real talent or creativity. If u were to ask if your,"poem", was appealing to the masses, I would have to say no, obviously, there is no whimsical or musical quality to it. It has no rythym or sensible story that unfolds from begining to end. There are no," happy/pretty ", connotations. It would require a concious decision by the viewer to spend time unravelling its mystery. There is a whole thought process, as well as a very open minded curiosity needed, that quite frankly most people couldnt b bothered with. However as everything can be a creative expression if u r serious, the ironic thing is that there is an artistic punch behind your words. "FLEAS,ADAM HAD 'EM". If I assume that by Adam, u r referring to the biblical first man, then what your poem could b doing is humanising what many people see as a their spiritual first leader. U r making the point that if the most annoying, unsanitary, common place ailments can affect a chosen soul, then where is this big spiritual divider that seperates the average man/woman from the prophets. Its actually quite a witty statement which forces the reader to analyze their own deep beliefs. Art is suppose to enhance your perception of the world, believe it or not, that is exactly what your little poem does. Good job...............

It's possibly the best poem I've ever heard! Don't listen to those other people out there being mean about it, it's a BRILLIANT poem! I'm an experienced poet, so I know what I"m talking about! I really see the simplistic genius of it! And by the way, if you haven't already figured this out, then, in the words of Mindy(Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy), "THAT was sar-casm!"

Great monochromatic ouvre, with a hint at metaphor without going overboard and resorting to hyperbole. The meter is also very catchy and economical. Sometimes less is more.

No Melba is good. You know connects to the peaches. Melba toast, melba peaches. Have you ever seen the water tower that is a giant Georgia peach? It is kind of famous in the south - the cleft of the peach is so giant and obscene. We always laughed as we traveled past.

Aww. Poor Adam. Well you weren't kidding when you said "short". It's not bad, for a five year old.

Short but in its entirety has the potential to be misleading.
Adam also had many other critters and creeping things.
