Absolutely. That is why they are picking fights from fires to abortion. They are losing on all grounds and in full fledged panic mode. The war is winnable, SCHIP has failed as the fraud it was exposed as, and Hillary is still taking bribes. Democrats in congress are inept and now in a full retreat! The only thing they can do, is mount a counter-attack.

There has been some good news for patriots: the bad dream amnesty act for illegal aliens failed for the 5th time, the border fence is being built, a Repub was elected gov. of LA, and American deaths in Iraq are down. However, because of the Iraq war and Repub scandals, it is likely that the Dimocrats will be victorious in the 2008 election.
I hope not, but that what it looks like now. Perhaps the GOP can select someone acceptable to the majority of American voters like Romney or Thompson, then they have a chance of uniting the party and achieving victory. A Giuliani or McCain candidacy would be disasterous for the GOP!

I hope everything calms down . Finally . This latest disaster in California and the fantastic response is a good place to start . And the 'victims' asking not to be called 'victims' shows the people are taking PERSONAL RESPONSIBILTY for their plight as well . Sure it's not their fault , but it's nobody's fault !!
That's the over-riding difference , that and the attitudes !!

Liberals are bringing about their own destruction by simply running their mouths and being as ses.
They can turn it around any time they want. Take a look at Dennis Miller. He used to be a flaming liberal, but now he's accepted among conservatives because he chooses not to be dishonest and hateful. If he can do it, anyone can.
If you're a liberal, and you're reading this, and you choose to continue destroying others by any means possible with claims that you know are pure fiction, you deserve everything you get.
