My boyfriend really likes this name because it's both our names together, but I don't like it very much. I really like the fact that he found a name he likes, but i'm not so sure. He's not a fan of ghetto names, and sadly I am. I'd rather something more unique, and different. Our do you suggest another name, because his name is Terrance, and mines is Aliya (Aaliyah).

I'love'you?? Are you serious. Thats a phrase, not a name!! Jewels is nice and so is Shomnae. I see you really must love your man though. I think it would really mean alot to him. Terriya is cute if you want your names to be together.

I just heard the name Talia for the first time this fall when I got a Talia as one of my students. It's a cute and unique name for a cute and unique girl. I would have never thought of it before if I didn't know someone now with the name. The fact that your boyfriend likes it because it's a combo of your names makes it kind of neat and "hand picked". I'm not much for "made up" names. I do know a little girl named Taedra which I think is a very unique yet adorable name.

Run a search on "The Sun, The Moon, and Talia." It is the original version of Sleeping Beauty. I think that the graphic nature of the story may help you to change your man's mind. The name Talia always makes me think of this version of the story. Instead of a ghetto name, try an old one that still holds some of the same unique qualities. Charmaine or Shiloh would be pretty. I really like the way Dorianna sounds. Your boyfriend doesn't like that one?

Out of the names on the list, I like Tanesha and Ashliana the best. But overall I think Talia sounds the nicest!! :)

Oh sweet lord, please don't use any of those "names." They're beyond "ghetto" they're absolutely trashy and horrific. Talia or Tahlia would be breathtakingly pretty and feminine, and it's a REAL name.

Yeah, its pretty obvious that you DO like ghetto names!! but no Talia is a very nice name and it isn't so typical either such as Jennifer or something

I really like all the names mostly... Tanesha, Jewels and Ashliana. But my favoritest name out of the worlds names I love emily.. maybe you can do something and use your creativy! Like add letters and take some out. Well hope you find a name! GOOD LUCK!

I love Talia! It is very unique and isnt made up. Natalia is nice too and you could nickname her Talia.

our next door neighbor has a 4 year old named Talia and I still think it doesn't sound like a name myself but she's still a cute little girl.
i think ashliana is the only one where she'll get a good job later on in life
