The ATI Radeon 9200 (RV280) is 64 MB memory size, GPU Clock is 250 MHz (original: 250 MHz), the RAMDAC Clock is 400 MHz, the Pixel Pipelines is 4, the bus type is DDR, and the Bus width is 64-bit.

The NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200:
Memory: 128 MB, 64 bit DDR, 400 MHz (effective), 3.2 GB/s Memory Bandwidth, 250 MHz GPU, 4 Pixel Pipelines, 350 MHz RAMDAC..

Which one is better? Please answer only if you know for sure. I need to get the right answer. THANKS

The FX5200 may have a slight edge BUT difference in games is hardly noticeable because they are outdated and SLOW. They would perform miserably in current popular games.

Neither, If you are PCI bound, try going to newegg, as mentioned and look for the 5500 Or I think there is a 6200 PCI card out there aswell.

I would just save my money and buy a MOBO and a PCI Express Video card.

The 5500 and the 6200 series have 256MB of Memory on them and the core clocks are higher

Both are terrible. They were some of the worst cards when they came out 5 years ago, so now they are absolutely horrendous. Go on newegg.com and look for a graphics card that fits your needs.

Wow that brings back memories, the 5200 was my first upgrade ever!! I would not go with either one, especially if you want to play todays games. Check out Newegg.com.

get a card that supports Pixel Shader Model 4. the end.

NVIDA is the better out the two. But, if you have an AMD processor pick a higher level ATI card it will look better.
