my current rear tire is a 180-55-17.....can i replace it with a 190-55-17 ???

Great place to ask this question...

Ive put tires that are wider than the tire that originally came on it and I hardly noticed a difference in handling but I suppose you could notice. I just couldnt imagine it would be that signifigant.
If you can get a really good deal on the tire I'd say go for it.

I think u can. I meet many friends on a site called bikerkiss. Some of them say once they did this. If u meet problems, u can get on the site to find help.

you can if you want to a lot of people do this but it will affect your turn in and how your bike handles. you can put a 200 if you want but like i said changing your tire width will negatively affect your hangling of your bike. i've bought bikes with wider tires than stock and i didnt like they way they handle. i always stick to stock tire size but its your choice
