Annie-- That's why she doesn't like it! There are 8 other Alyssa's at her school! Nice name, but kind of popular.

Alyssa is cute but hate Marie, just think it's an ugly name and it's way too common as a middle name.

i like it! it is actually spelled correctly and that's a plus these days! a nice name.my youngest granddaughters have this name between the two of them---
the oldest is Natalie Marie and the youngest is Alyssa Elaine.though her mom spelled Alyssa's name different which i don't like at all cause it is spelled nothing like it is spoken! and i refuse to spell her name in that clownish manner!

I think it's a great name! It's unusual and when you are young and it can be a tough thing to deal with, but as she gets older she will appreciate it more! Trust me, I know because my name is unusual and I didn't care for it much when I was younger, but now I love it!

That's my cousin's name. Pretty, common, and if I had a daughter, it would not be an option even if it was available.
