we are finding out the gender of our baby next week and we have picked out names, but yet unsure of which we like....out of the two choices which do you think sounds better?
girl:
Zaleigh Cadence
Abigale Mackenzie
boy:
Paxton Jax
Lucky James

I actually like the sound of Zaleigh. While Kaleigh is one of my all time, least favorite names, Zaleigh sounds fresh. I might opt for a toned down spelling - Zaley, maybe? But again, while I detest Rileigh, Bryleigh, etc. I don't mind the "leigh" ending on this one.
There's also Zadie, which I like quite a bit.
It seems like you want an unusual name, and so I'd steer clear of Abigail. Varying the spelling can't change the fact that it is one of the five most popular names for baby girls right now.
I'm not sure about Zaleigh Cadence, though. It's a lot of "ay" sounds. I might use Zaleigh Abigail.
For a boy, I just wouldn't use Lucky. Hopefully he will be a lucky little guy, but the name would probably feel like a burden. Paxton is nice - especially with the whole Pax/Peace meaning - but not with Jax. It's far too rhyme time.
Stick with Paxton James - it's a great choice.

I like both of your girl names. I'd go w/ Zaleigh because it's a lot more unique than Abigale. Of your boy names I'd have to pick Paxton. No offense but Lucky sounds too much like a dog's name. Personally I'd swap the middle names & do Paxton James. But that's me. Happy baby'in!

Zaleigh: Awful
Cadence: Hate it
Abigale: If it were spelled correctly (Abigail) it would be fine.
Mackenzie: I'm not a fan, but it's better than the first two.
Paxton: I really like this one.
Jax: Terrible!!! Especially when combined with Paxton.
Lucky: Child abuse, that's what that is.
James: Excellent.
PLEASE, if it's a boy, go with Paxton James. And Abigail Mackenzie for the girl.

I like Abigale MacKenczie as it is a nice old-fashioned name you don't see every day. It has a nice rhythm to it as will. Zaleigh Cadence is original, but is dissonant and a bit awkward (not to mention people will forever be spelling it wrong!).
I agree that James Paxton or even Paxton James sounds better than your combos. Paxton Jax is awkward to say. Lucky James sounds nice, but Lucky is a bit out there for me!

If it were one of those names I would have to chose:
Girl: Abigale Mackenzie and
Boy: (You should change lucky james to james lucky) So.... either Lucky James but I think it should be James Lucky!
But I would think of some other names too... just in case you child gets older and doesn't like his or her name.. so in case that happens make her or him a nickname that any choice of you child wants and then call him or her by that name and when she starts to gorw into an adult call her by her real name and not her nickname. Please drop the Cadence. Choose Candace if you like the "feel" of the name, but Cadence has a meaning. You may as well name her Zaleigh Beat,and Zaleigh is unusual enough, as it is. Abigale is better. Also with a boy, Paxton is okay and James is great. James Paxton would be my choice. Save Jax and Lucky for your dogs.

I vote for Abigale Mackenzie and Paxton Jax. Naming your son Lucky James is just asking him to be teased in school.

Abigail Mackenzie is okay. Zaleigh is just horrid.
Paxton and Lucky are both awful. Try Lucas James, with Lucky as a nickname.
