Past. I want to meet my great granparents, and parents, when they were young and full of energy and spirit. 1946, would be a good year, my dad was just getting back from the War, and all my close relatives were still alive, and full of stories about the old country. Its a crime your question begins with "if."

In the future, definitely.
While all times certainly have their graces and there will always be people leading happy and unhappy lives in any time, I believe that life in the past was in many ways more difficult, and that in the future it will be much more complex...
Also, I already have an idea of what life in the past was... I wish I knew how people will live in any time of the future... (The farther the future, the better...)

The Roaring 20s...I would have loved to see those 'real' gangsters, and of course, the SpeakEasys.
Seriously I think those must have been fun times.
I'd also travel to the early 1950s...when things were like Happy Days.

Every time i see this Question--I think it would be Interesting to travel--to 4,543 B.C.E. and bring back as much written material as i could find-From the Persian area of the world But that just me-I like archeology

i would go back to the past, to about 2000. i would insist that my sister get checked for cancer...i'm not sure exactly when she got it, but i know for sure she had it in 2001, and maybe 2000 would have been far enough in advance to catch it... and maybe she would still be here with her sons. i would also give her someone to talk to about how unhappy she was in her marriage, no one in the family had any idea. and i would give her support for her decision to leave.

i go back in the past ,,back to 1980 and tell my self to buy stock in a company called micro soft when it come out on the market,
tell my self to get more education, like computer programing.
