In Australia,I was offered a job with my kids able to accompany me, by this man in a car parked near the hospital I was in. At the time I had been ditched with the kids (one a new born) I was so nervous and afraid, that I said I would think about it. I took his card and scuttled back inside. I didn't keep the card and thought no more about it until one of the nurses exclaimed whilst reading the paper 'Oh my God that guy was real - the one that offered you the job!. There in the paper was this man's picture together with his new housekeeper/factotum - He had given her the job managing his apartment and his business and all the details were what he had offered me. The money was amazing.,It turned out he was a multimillionaire and a famous entrepreneur. Oh well, ce la vie'.

Yes, I did and I did realize it at the time, but there was nothing I could do about it. I don't like to dwell on it, though. Live, learn and move on.
