I live in a very haunted house and am looking for serious answers. Please help me find out how to get rid of ghosts. I think we have at least three, one of them potentially violent. We live in a very haunted house.

Mouse traps. Mouse traps take care of most ghosts. They're funny that way.

I don't know if you're even listening to these anymore, but I'll still give my two cents.

I'd try communicating with the ghosts. Find out why they're upset, and try finding a mutual agreement and understanding. Do a little research to find out what happened to them in life, and maybe help them get over it or otherwise be friend. It can be fun to befriend a ghost, in my old house (old as in previous, but also old as in OLD-early 1800s) there was this one spirit of someone (at least I think it was...). I made nice and he/she left me alone, a bit shy but occasionally showing itself.

Any other advice if you really want them gone is to help them "move on," or get a priest if you're that religous. You might also want to ask a Wiccan or Pagan person (a friend of yours?) to cast a spell or two (if Wiccan) or some other various Pagan way.

Do you have any pets? Back at my old house, if a ghost was present (before I made nice) my rabbit would always start stamping her feet (what they do to warn other rabbits of potential danger), my cat would hiss at an invisible something, my two guinea pigs would start chattering (a sound they make when they're displeased/angry) and hide in their boxes. My dog would stare at a nothing, growl at a nothing, or bark at a nothing (I'm pretty much convinced you can see at least the outline of the spirit reflected in the dog's eyes). I also hear that birds start chirping/sqwaking and flutter madly when one's near.

I hope this helps, and if you think I'm crazy then I wouldn't be so quick to judge. Email me at travisgrimes92@hotmail.com if you'd like more details on things.

If you are being serious, then there is a book by hanz halbert (something like that) and you can email him and sometimes he will come to your house and get proof and do other things. Then I suggest talking to a priest about an exorcism. Its not as easy as come bless my house. They have to prepare for it and get approval from the vatican. Try burning sage in all corners and areas of the house and saying something along the lines of bless this house and all who are in it, let no harm come to anyone in this area (so cover every area). White candles also help. Light them and tell the ghost they are dead an go into the white light that their loved ones are waiting for them on the other side. Get some crosses and holy water.

It is a great amount of work and effort, and is successful in about a third to half the attempts to expel spirits.

Then, too, selling the house and moving might not solve the troubles, as one or more spirits may follow you.

If you are Catholic, be aware that the church has expanded greatly it's army of priests who can expel spirits, and you should contact your parish.

Bottom line for others is that you must avoid any charlatans and seek help from genuine agencies, such as established religions of long standing.

The Church does sometimes work with other religious leaders, to solve these problems.

Get advice from your minister or Rabbi, if in those Religions.

I used to live in a haunted house once long ago and yes i've seen em alright. Not a pretty sight. Usually prayers would solve this. Get someone holy to do some rituals. I'm not religious at all but heck, it worked.

I know a famous ghostbuster named Jennifer Shepherd the Lipstick Mystic. She talks a lot about haunted homes. She just posted an article about how to get rid of ghosts. You might find it helpful. Basically she says you need to take charge of your home and be confident. Stay strong.

Call a local ghost detection service. We have some in our area that go around to see if your house is haunted or just something like mice or something like that that is causing the noises.

Search online to find the number of the Ghost Riders.
They are helpful becuase they get rid of them.
They might put cameras and see if there really is a ghost.
If they can't get rid of it
Move as far away as possible

If there is something bad
in the neighborhood
Who you gonna call?

GHOST BUSTERS.....

I would place a sheet over my head, splash it with some red food coloring to simulate blood, grab some chains to rattle in one hand and a huge chainsaw in the other and and scare the hell out of the ghost by acting like a meaner ghost.

spred garlic leaves at the bottom of all of the doors and hang crosses on the doors. It works i live in a house built in 1700s. Do this for about a week and they will be gone.
