Any brand would work. Just stay away from high performance variants that require higher default voltage especially if you just have a proprietary or a low end retail motherboard. Normal DDR voltage is 2.5V.

1st answer correct. Any brand will *work*, but some brands *are* better than others. I advise that you look on newegg, look for the RAM with the best rating (within your budget), and then look on pricegrabber for a better deal on the same RAM.

as long as it meet your PC's requirements. brand doesnt matter.
