Assuming you mean three and one third x, (3 1/3)x and not 31/(3x) ...

3 1/3X>-6 1/3
10x/3 > -19/3
10x > -19
x >-19/10
x >-1 9/10

- a million/3 + 6 + a million/3 = 6 this is the way you are attempting this. might desire to discover a common denominator so as that the numerators can all be further jointly. when you consider which you have already got 2 fractions with a common denominator of '3', what do you may desire to do to '6' (ie. 6/a million) to furnish it a denominator of '3'? You multiply it by utilising '3/3', that's comparable to multiplying it by utilising 'a million'. So: -a million/3 + 6/a million x 3/3 + a million/3 = -a million/3 + 18/3 +a million/3 Now you have a common denominator ('3'). The equation can now be written: -a million+18+a million ------------ 3 you may now upload the numerators jointly: = 18 / 3 Now simplify: = 6

i think the answer is this
x = -2
how i came up with this is by
3 1/3x > -6 1/3
cancel the denominator with the whole number.
so you should get
3 into 3 = 1 and 3 into -6 = -2
therefore the answer is
1x (or) x > -2.
hope that was help.

Write the mixed numbers as improper fractions
(10/3)x>(-19/3)
When you divide by a fraction you multiply by the reciprocal.
(3/10)(10/3)x>(-19/3)(-3/10)
x>(-19/10)
or
x > -1 9/10
or
x > -1.9

Change them to improper fractions to make life easier.

10/3x > 19/3

cross multiply
30 = 57x
x= 30/57
x= 10/19

i assume your equation is in improper fraction form
so to put it into proper fraction form is:

10/3X > -19/3

multiply by 3 on both side (positive number, no need to switch inequality)
10X > -19
divide by 10
X > -19/10
