We just planted the seeds in miracle grow planting medium
and then when it got big enough we moved it to the yard. It is not a fast grower but it has survived a couple of winters here in Florida

Don't mean to ask crazy questions but are you really gonna eat the fruit? You must have a strong stomach. I had about 3 trees as a child and those things are horrible.

stratify seed in sand or peat for 60 to 90 days at 41 degrees

bung it in a pot of soil, water it, keep it in a warm place, and wait. takes a long time before you get fruit though
