Tonight and tomorrow (Oct. 25, 26) will be the largest full moon in 2007. It is no illusion. The moon will be 14% wider and 30% brighter than any full moon this year. Stunning!

North Carolina is finally getting some rain so I can't see the moon. I am going to missed the moon but I see God's other great blessing coming down from the sky. I have only cut grass 4 times this year so maybe you can understand why I am so happy. We are on stage 4 water restrictions.

The moon here appears red due to the smoke in the air..it is eerie, but beautiful at the same time. Thanks for the heads up, will be watching..it rises in our back yard (well, not really, but OVER the back yard and is in view from the entire lenght of the house from the inside.
This assumes that the smoke which has all blown out to sea does not come back on us when the winds reverse this evening..such fun here in California lately. love and peace, Goldwing

Thank you for the alert. That's what is called an "earthquake moon" because of its close point of approach to the earth, with the inevitable tugging at our tectonic plates. Let's hope any activity is on the other side of the planet. California has had enough at this point.
