My first pregnacy I had pre ecclampsia and had to be induced (at 38 weeks and baby was healthy). I also had hydronephrosis of both kidneys and my SI joint slipped out of one of my hips. Im a little nervous about having a baby again (our first is only 5 months so not for awhile). I was just curious if pre ecclampsia is likely to happen again?

Not every pregnancy is the same so it's not inevitable that you will have those complications again.

However, your risk is slightly higher.

All the best to you!

You are at higher risk since you had it before, but not guaranteed to get it again. Every pregnancy is different.

I did not have it with my first, did have it and was induced with my second, and did not have it again with the third.

It's a coin toss. You are at risk because you had it with the first. I had pre ecclampsia with my oldest but not with my second, had it again with my third but not so far with this one.
