Yes. I quit for long periods of time, and then start again. Mainly because alot of my friends smoke, and when my husband and I are at parties, or drinking watching football or something, it's kind of the "social" thing to do. Everyone goes outside to smoke, and you have nothing to do... lol. If that makes sense. But I have gone over a year without smoking, and I plan on quitting AGAIN after my birthday next week. Wish me luck...

I smoked for 30+ years because I enjoyed it. Quit almost 3 years ago, because my Doc said I was get emphysema. You won't convince me that it was caused by the smoking, but it doesn't a genius to know smoking would make it worse.

I'm embaressed to say Yes. And when I say embaressed I mean it. No one even knows that I smoke (mom, coworkers, some friends) but one day I'll kick the habit. I've only been smoking for 6 years but no cigs only cigars.

I did for 10 years, but I gave up two months ago and haven't felt like having one at all, which is good for me as I'd usually have given in and smoked by now.

I'm glad I've given up at last I feel better for it!

YES, I smoke cigars. I smoke them as I find them VERY relaxing and I have only received ONE complaint while smoking one. And as far as in my house, if someone doesn't like the smell or the smoke welllll, HOLD your breath or get the PHUCK OUT.

no because its a gross habit and there are cooler ways to die. some kids in my high school (even freshies) smoke a lot and its the most disgusting thing ever. those kids have no life and are always getting in trouble and they smell so bad.
