We hadn't been dating but a few months, but it was christmas time and my daughter wanted a gameboy. They were going on sale at like 5:00 am. I didn't have the money nor did I really feel like waiting in line all morning. Well without me knowing he snuck out of bed and went and stood in line and got her that game boy.

The sweetest thing my husband has ever done for me is, well first read my story. I once related to my husband how as a child my dad and mom divorced, my dad had eventually remarried & him and his wife had 2 daughters (my half sisters) and how I always felt second best. I never felt number one. So one day my husband who has a tattoo of my name on his arm, went along and had a tattoo of #1 placed under my name. I thought that was so nice of him to go to that extreme to make me feel so special. It touched my heart.

Once, I had the most horrific headache. My husband had been working all day and was tired but came home after work and shut the lights off in our room and put me to bed, made the kids sit and watch a movie and be quiet in the back living room and he layed with me and rubbed my head till I fell asleep and then went and cooked dinner and fed the kids. I love him for all the things like that he ever did for me.

He made a treasure hunt on the computer. It would give me a hint and then I would find the answer within our house. For instance one of the questions was what was the first movie we saw together and when I found that DVD there was a piece of paper with numbers that I entered in the computer to get my next clue. On my treasure hunt I found a card, gift card to my favorite store and then the big gift a diamond necklace and matching earrings.

I work and I go to school full time. He works full time. My chores were falling behind because of my schedule. The bathroom was getting scary and (let's face it) the things growing in it would probably demand voting rights very soon. I came home one night (around 11pm) after a full day of school & work. He had cleaned that bathroom from floor to ceiling. It sparkled. I literally fell to my knees and cried I was so shocked and grateful.
