Goto maps.google.com and you can just type in your address. Then you can change from map view to satellite view or hybrid for both. It's incredible and addictive!

Yes it does have its security risks wasn't the 9/11 bombings planned using the co-ordinates from flight simulator? things now-a-days are way too realistic for their own good, With technology getting more advanced so quickly we are falling behind and can't keep up with it to make it secure or at least safe. I have found lots of friends houses on Google earth and you can clearly see road marking and escape routes from their back or front gardens etc, why do you think google earth blocks out images of "The Satue of Liberty? G.C.H.Q? and other main landmarks? because of security risks, but because its our houses it ok to take pictures and publish them so anyone in the world can get pictures of them, but for some funny reason you're not allowed to video your child in a nativity play?? the world is backwards and technology is helping it get worse. Google should at least ask permission if they can take pictures of your house...yea there would be loads of people to ask but thats the way it is.

local.live.com is a good site because they let you get shots at an angle from all sides of your house. It's a Microsoft service. maps.google.com is pretty simple; just zoom in on your state / city / street using the streets view, and then switch over to satellite view in order to change it from a map to actual pictures of the land.
Once you have your house in sight, you can do a 'print screen' function to save the image onto your computer.
